The Interfaith Council is active in our community!We sponsor the MLK Breakfast in January.
Black Tie Bingo is held in conjunction with the Council on Aging in January. Proceeds from the event benefit the fuel assistance fund for the Outreach Committee of the Council. A contingent from the DIC "marches" in the 4th of July Parade. In June, the Baccalaureate Service is held the Thursday before graduation for seniors graduating from high school. In November we host the Thanksgiving morning service at Bumpus Park. We have also held community prayer services and candlelight vigils to commemorate 9/11 and other events.
